About Me
I’m a full-time cabin and short-term rental photographer based in the Smoky Mountains, with over 15 years of experience photographing everything from one-bedroom retreats to large luxury lodges.
I live here, work here, and understand what owners, guests, and rental companies need to see to feel confident in a property.
My work is built around one core idea:
Clean, accurate, inviting images that feel true to the space.
My Approach
Cabins aren’t studio sets — they’re places where people gather, relax, and make memories.
That’s why my photography focuses on creating images that feel natural, believable, and consistent from one room to the next.
- Clean, controlled lighting
Soft, balanced flash blended with natural ambient light - Accurate color
Wood tones, fabrics, and finishes represented as they actually are - Real window views
If your property has a view, it’s shown honestly — not replaced or exaggerated - Full coverage
Every meaningful space documented with no arbitrary photo limits - Thoughtful staging
Clean, simple adjustments that enhance the space without misrepresenting it
The goal is always the same — create images that feel polished and elevated, while still being honest and grounded in reality.
A Thoughtful Approach to Editing & AI
Modern tools make it easier than ever to change how a space looks. I believe those tools should be used carefully.
All editing is handled personally, in-house. This ensures consistency from shoot to final delivery, with full control over color, lighting, and detail. It also means that if adjustments are ever needed, you’re communicating directly with the person who created the images.
I use editing and AI for:
- Minor cleanup and distractions
- Small corrections and refinements
- Subtle enhancements that improve clarity
I don’t use them to:
- Replace skies or window views
- Alter colors beyond recognition
- Create unrealistic lighting or scenes
As guests become more aware of over-edited and AI-generated images, trust matters more than ever. Clear, realistic photography helps set accurate expectations and leads to better guest experiences.
My philosophy is simple:
Use every tool available to improve the image — but never mislead the viewer.
What I Aim to Do
Build trust between you and your guests
Accurate images lead to better expectations, reviews, and repeat bookings
- Deliver consistent, reliable results
Whether it’s one cabin or an entire portfolio - Create a premium look without artificial tricks
Clean lighting, accurate color, and intentional composition - Tell the story of the space
From wide coverage to detail-driven moments
Experience
I started in real estate photography in the early 2000s and transitioned into short-term rentals as the market began to grow in the Smokies.
After thousands of shoots, I’ve developed a workflow and lighting style that delivers consistent, high-quality results while adapting to the unique challenges of each property.
I still enjoy the process — the lighting, the staging, the problem-solving, and the craft of making each space look its best.
I’m easy to work with, straightforward in communication, and focused on delivering images you can rely on.
Let’s Work Together
If you value clean, natural, trustworthy photography that stands out without looking artificial, I’d be glad to help.
